Trek Amphu Lapcha Pass

Trek Chola Pass Everest Base Camp Amphu Lapcha pass trekking is one of the most outstanding and spectacular high alpine trek leads extreme adventurous trekking trail crossing Mera La and Amphu Lapcha pass, which is one of the most challenging pass situated in Southeast of Everest Region. This adventure high passes trek is one of the challenging trekking pass in the Nepal, which offers fascinating experience. This trekking trail is situated in quite high elevation and it demands physical fitness. Amphu Lapcha is to be passed technically to Chukkung Valley. The crossing of the pass requires the use of technical climbing equipments and trekkers must be skilled in the use of this and be prepared. It holds the views of Himalayas and hearty scenery of lakes Hongu lakes and Panch Pokhari lakes. The Amphu Lapcha pass is ascended with the protection of fixed ropes over straightforward icefall and the descent requires a short abseil to a broad snow terrace. The pass is tricky owing to steepness although it is at a lower altitude than Mera (6,654m) and Island Peak (6,160m). The trek connects with the Khumbu region at Chhukung. The trek to the Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar is tremendous and visit of the pristine Sherpa villages and monasteries makes the trip memorable over a lifetime. The trek starts from Lukla, the transit point where most of the trekkers and mountaineers begin their trips ( Mera Peak climbing, Everest Gokyo trek, Everest Kalapathar trek and all the high mountain expedition) in the Everest region. The return trek from high passes continues to delight adventurous souls with more spectacular mountain views, lush forested valleys, and opportunities to learn about the Nepalese religion, culture and finally Lukla by flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu; transfer to the Hotel
Day 02 : Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley
Day 03 : Fly to Lukla
Day 04 : Trek to Chutanga, overnight at camp
Day 05 : Trek to Zatrala La pass, overnight at camp
Day 06 : Trek to Kotte, overnight at camp
Day 07 : Trek to Thangnak, overnight at camp
Day 08 : Acclimatization at Thangnak, overnight at camp
Day 09 : Trek to Khare, overnight at camp
Day 10 : Trek to Mera base camp, overnight at camp
Day 11 : Mera high camp, overnight at camp
Day 12 : Summit up to Mera peak and back to base camp, overnight at camp
Day 13 : Trek to Honku valley, overnight at camp
Day 14 : Trek to Panch Pokhari, overnight at camp
Day 15 : Acclimatization at Panch Pokhari, overnight at camp
Day 16 : Trek to Amphu Lapcha base camp, overnight at camp
Day 17 : Trek to Chhukung after crossing Amphu Lapcha pass, overnight at camp
Day 18 : Trek to Tyangboche, overnight at camp/lodge
Day 19 : Trek to Namche Bazaar, overnignt at camp/lodge
Day 20 : Trek to Lukla, overnight at lodge.
Day 21 : Fly back to Kathmandu
Day 22 : Rest at Kathmandu
Day 23 : Departure on your own destination

Price For The Trip: The total cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. For these reasons, the same trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially.
