This trip takes us into the heart of the mountain. We start from Mahankal an spend 4 days trekking to Kheldang where we acclimatize for on day. We then cross the Ganja La Pass (5122m) and head down to Kanjin Gompoa where we pass the end of the Langtang trek. We carry on to Dorje Lakpa, and near the Tibetan border we cross Langsisa Glacier and enjoy views of Langtang, Lirung and Sisa-Pangma. Here we are right in the mountains. A further six days trek takes us through beautiful, unspoilt Langtang National Park, where we see lakes of Panch Pokhari and virgin forest, home of the endangered (and protected red panda.
