Chulu East 6,584 m
|
 Chulu east peak is popular trekking peaks in Annapurna region.This is basically a trek around Annapurna peaks with an ascent of a technically straightforward peak, Chulu East at 6584 meter. Situated high above the Manang valley the summit of Chulu east offers a breathtaking view of Annapurna, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho and Manaslu peaks. Starting the trek from Besi Sahar after a 6-7 hrs drive from Kathmandu, the trail ascends gradually along the Marshyangdi river valley and eventually leads to the village of Pisang where we leave the main trail and head up the Chulu East base camp. Fully fit and acclimatised, we then attempt Chulu east. Following an ascent we rejoining the main trail and head towards Kali Gandaki valley cros.

Ending at: Nayapul (By Bus to Pokhara & Kathmandu)

Highest access of the trek: 6584m and 5,416m. (Throng La passes)

Chulu East Peak Climbing Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing and prepare for trekking and climbing.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to BesiShahar-823m
Day 04: Beshishar to Baundanda (1311m)
Day 05: Trek to Jagat-1314m (approx. 6 hr)
Day 06: Jagat to Dharapani (1943m)
Day 07: Dharapani to Chame-2713m (approx. 6 hr)
Day 08: Chame to Pisang (3185m)
Day 09: Pisang to Hongde- 3300m (approx. 4 hr)
Day 10: Acclimatization day (you can do some excursion trip going about 4000m and come down which would be the good acclimatization)
Day 11: Trek to Chulu base camp-3910m
Day 12: Trek to High camp 4955m
Day 13: High Camp 4955m (if well acclimatized, you can attempt the summit. If not, rest at the high camp for the next day)
Day 14: Base Camp-3910m (weather permitting, you'll make the summit ascent this day and return to base camp
Day 15: Trek to Manang
Day 16: Trek to Thorung Phedi-440m (5-6 hr)
Day 17: Trek to Muktinath crossing over the Thorung La-5416m (8-9 hr)
Day 18: Trek to Marpha -2613m (approx. 6 hr)

Day 20: Trek to Tatopani-1189m (approx 7 hr)
Day 21: Trek to Ghorepani
