Trek Langtang Tilman Pass

Langtang Tilman Pass Trekking is a part of the Langtang trek and perhaps the most popular and adventurous trek in Nepal. This trek is a pioneer high altitude trek, lies in the upper Langtang region, closed to the border of the Tibet and Nepal on elevation of 5350 meters. The Trekking area offers you the Langsisha glacier, five sacred lakes of Panch Pokhari and the extremely remote Jugal Himal.  Langtang Tilman pass trekking is less crowed for the trekkers who have entire desire of enjoying with nature in the remote area. This trekking trail is famous trekking trail for the Superb Himalayan scenery including the Langtang, Gaurishanker, and Rolwaling Himalaya range. Langtang Tilman pass trekking connects with two different Himalaya region including the Langtang and Panch pokhari (Five holy lake) where you will enjoy and see panoramic Himalayan views of Langtang and Lirung, Langtang Himal, Naya Khanga, Yala peak, Ganesh Himal, Langshisa, Gaurishanker, Dorjelakpa. The trip starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi which is one of the popular trekking trails of Langtang region and eventually trail passes with view of Langtang Himala 5160m. After Langtang village in hight of 3500m and where the national park headquarters is located, you’ll be headed to Kyangjin Gompa and Yala Peak then you require to pass 5350 meters Tilman pass. The pass is blocked by snow, so local inquiries about its condition, good equipment and mountaineering experience are necessary for safe crossing.

Day 07: Kyanjing Gompa trek to Tserko RI 4984 M and back to Kyanjin Gompa
Day 08: Kyanjin Gompa trek to Langshisa Kharka (4100m)
Day 09: Langshisa Khara trek to Moraine Camp (4650m)
Day 10: Moraine camp trek to Tilman pass base camp
Day 11: Tilman base camp trek to Tinpokhari (Three lake) (3735m)
Day 12: Tinpokhari to Panch pokhari (five lake) (4123m)
Day 13: Panch pokhari excursion/acclimatization day.
Day 14: Panch pokhari trek to Nasimpati (3745m)
Day 15: Nasimpati trek to Bhangyang (3414m)
Day 16: Bhangyang trek to Pauwabas (3024m)
Day 17: Pauwabas trek to Kharka (2855m)
Day 18: Kharka trek to Okhreni (2043m)
Day 19: Okhreni trek to Chautara (1235m)

Price for the Trip: The total cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek.
